West Lancashire Borough Council is excited to announce the launch of our brand new in-house Employability and Workplace Wellbeing team: 'The NEST'.
The NEST stands for all the things we provide: Networking, Employability, Support & Training; offering a range of services including 1 to 1 coaching for local residents looking to access training and employability support; CV writing, interview preparation and help to access training platforms/courses plus provision to overcome barriers to work such as childcare, travel and job start support.
Alongside this our team also offer completely FREE Workplace Health & Wellbeing training courses to help create happier, healthier work environments across the borough where staff can thrive!

We are also running a programme hosted by the Department for Work and Pensions, called WorkWell. WorkWell is designed to support disabled people and people with health conditions. You can find out more about this initiative here.
