A chance to explore your local heritage, with the trail taking in 16 'points of interest'.
Funded by the UK Shared Prosperity Fund, our new Heritage Trail provides a unique opportunity to explore Skelmersdale’s rich industrial and cultural
heritage. This scenic two-mile pathway winds through the peaceful greenery of Tawd Valley Park, inviting you to explore the town’s remarkable history.
The loop trail starts at the Corn Mill and ends at the Ampitheatre.

Accessibility: There are two sets of steps. Parts of the trail are uneven and may not suitable for people with mobility problems, or for wheelchairs, prams and buggies. From the town centre to Summer Street the path is well surfaced.
