Council Democratic Structure

The council is composed of 45 councillors who are elected by a simple majority and serve for four years. The Leader, Deputy Leader, Mayor and Deputy Mayor of the Council are elected yearly at the Annual Meeting of the Council.

Location & Opening Times of Council Properties

West Lancashire Borough Council has two main customer contact points in the borough: the council offices in Ormskirk and the Customer Service Point in Skelmersdale.
