Public Access allows you to view details of Building Regulations submissions, approved inspectors initial notices, competent persons certification schemes and cavity wall insulation type relaxations that have been submitted to the Directorate of Place and Community of West Lancashire Borough Council.

You can view the details of Building Regulations submissions from 1 January 1999.
If you require details of submissions before 1999 or a full building regulation history for a property it would be advisable to submit a Site History Enquiry or a Local Land Search.
The online Building Regulations submission history contained within the site should not be relied upon in connection with a property or legal transactions.
Note:
Where a Building Regulations Full Plan submission has been given a Full Approval, this is because the submission complies with the substantive requirements of the Building Regulations.
Where a Building Regulations Full Plan submission has been given a conditional approval, this is because the submission generally complies with the substantive requirements of the Building Regulations but with minor amendments or additional information required.
Where a Building Regulations Full Plan submission has been rejected, this is because the submission fails to demonstrate compliance with the substantive requirements of the Building Regulations.
Where an Initial Notice is accepted, this is because it has been deposited in accordance with the Building (Approved Inspectors etc.) Regulations.
Where an Initial Notice is rejected, this is because it has not been deposited in accordance with the Building (Approved Inspectors etc.) Regulations.
