Building Regulations and building control
West Lancashire Borough Council Building Control would like to assure you that as a part of your local authority we have high level of business continuity planning which is allowing us to continue to operate through the current situation.
Although we are working from home we are continuing to receive and process Building Regulations Submissions, we are also continuing to carry out site inspections following Social Distancing requirements and were this is not possible are happy to discuss other ways of carrying out inspections. In some situations, photographic evidence may be acceptable if we are unable to attend a site inspection in person, however this should always be agreed with the relevant area Building Control Officer in advance.
