Date announced for West Lancashire By-Election

The Acting Returning Officer has received the writ for a By-Election for the West Lancashire Parliamentary Constituency.

The By-Election will be held on Thursday 9 February 2023. A formal notice of election has been published today.  The deadline to register to vote is Tuesday 24 January 2023. The postal vote registration deadline is Wednesday 25 January 2023.
