New CCTV Cameras – Consultation
This consultation is now closed.
Following a successful partnership bid involving the Council, Police and the Lancashire Police and Crime Commissioner, funding has been made available through the Home Office 'Safer Streets Scheme', for four new Public Open Space CCTV cameras for Birch Green.
We wanted to hear the views of residents who would potentially be directly affected by cameras being near to their homes have any views on the proposed camera locations.

EU Exit
Thank you to all businesses who have completed our survey on Brexit preparedness. As the EU Exit timeline has been put back until 2020 we will close the link and reissue again in January.

Statement of Community Involvement
The Council has prepared a new Statement of Community Involvement (SCI). This document sets out how the Council will involve people in the planning process, whether in developing policy, dealing with planning applications, considering works to trees or appraising conservation areas. The last SCI was prepared in 2016. The new SCI takes account of changes since then, for example the greater use of social media. For more information click here Statement of Community Involvement.

Homelessness & Rough Sleeper Strategy
This consultation closed on 25 March. The results will help to inform our revised Homelessness & Rough Sleeper strategy and Action Plan. Thank you to everyone who took part in the consultation.
Public Space Protection Order
This consultation closed on 13 December and the results will now be used to review the current and proposed orders in place about where dogs are banned from and where they must be kept on a lead. Thank you to everyone who took part in this consultation.

This consultation closed on 8 November 2019. Thank you to everybody who took part.
All comments received will be considered as we prepare our final recommendations. A final decision on how we spend CIL monies will be made by the Council’s Cabinet in early 2020.
Survey on Council Logo
The resident survey on the West Lancashire Borough Council logo closed on 7 November 2019.
We will consider all comments as part of our periodic review of the Council's corporate identity.
