Free parking
Parking on the Derby Street car park is free for up to four hours on a Saturday (a FREE ticket must be obtained from the pay & display machines and placed on clear display in the vehicle as stated in the instructions on the tariff boards).
All Council car parks are free after 5.30pm (until 8.30am) and all day Sunday and on Bank Holidays.
Please note: The car park located at Two Saints Retail Park on which Aldi, Argos, McDonalds etc are located, is owned privately and parking arrangements and enforcement are carried out by Parking Eye (external link).
Safer Parking Scheme
The Safer Parking Scheme is a national standard for UK car parks that have low crime and measures in place to ensure the safety of people and vehicles. Each of the Council's pay and display car parks has undergone a rigorous assessment by specially trained police assessors and has been awarded a Park Mark (external link) for achieving the challenging standards.
