Local Sustainable Transport Fund

West Lancashire Borough Council and Sefton Council (external link) have developed a joint project which has been awarded Visit logo £1.55m in funding through the Department for Transport's (DfT) Local Sustainable Transport Fund (LSTF).

The project focuses on supporting and promoting the visitor economy of the area. It covers the Sefton coast from Waterloo to Southport and inland incorporating western parts of West Lancashire including Ormskirk and Burscough.
