Burscough Brickpits
Burscough Brickpits is a compact but vibrant wildlife haven tucked away behind Liverpool Old Road and Mill dam Lane in Burscough.
The species rich meadows contain a variety of wildflowers and grasses which in tune support a wide range of invertebrate, bird and small mammal species. The management of the site is focused on maintaining and enhancing the sites Biodiversity.
There are hardstanding pathways circling the site and allowing easy access for all wishing to take exercise and enjoy the wildlife and floral displays.

Access
There are hardstanding paths circling the site. All entrances and paths are of a suitable width and surfacing to allow wheelchair and pram access. There are pedestrian entrances off Mill Dam Lane and Liverpool Road South.
How to find us.
Unfortunately the site does not benefit from carparking facilities and on street parking is very limited. There are regular buses that stop on the A59 at the end of Mill Dam Lane.
