Get Online Week

Since 2007, Get Online Week has reached more than 500,000 people, helping them take their first steps to do more online and West Lancashire Borough Council is getting involved.

Events Taking Place in the Community

We're holding three events across the week, where people can come along, have a brew and a piece of cake and chat with us about getting online. Whether you're just starting your digital journey or you would like to develop your existing skills come along and talk to us about what support is available.

The events will be taking place 10am – 3pm on:
• Monday 15th October 2018 – Evermoor Hub Community Centre, Digmoor
• Wednesday 17th October 2018 – Tanhouse Community Centre
• Thursday 18th October 2018 – The Gallery Café, Chapel Gallery, Ormskirk

You can learn about Learn My Way, our free online training platform which offers a wide range of online training courses, which West Lancashire Borough Council is a network centre for. The courses begin as simple as how to use a keyboard and how to set up an email and range all the way up to using NHS Choices and apply for Universal Credit; there really is something for everyone.
